Thanks to everyone who participated in the Summer/Fall 2020 Photo Contest. We had a great selection of beautiful photos to choose from. The top prize is $150 and we are also awarding a $100 cash prize for second place and a $50 cash prize for honorable mention.

How to Win & What You Need to Know

Anyone can enter - locals, area visitors, amateur and professional photographers are all welcome to participate. Photographic subjects can be scenic, people enjoying recreational activities, wildlife, landmarks or anything else that you think represents what Carbon County is about. We use submitted photos will be used to help promote travel and tourism in Carbon County.

Photos are judged by the Carbon County Visitors Council Board of Directors. Judges only view the photos and do not know photographer names until a winner is choosen. We have awarded cash prizes to over 43 talented winners over the years and you could be our next winner. Anyone can win!

Bigger Prize Pool

We have added money to the prize pool! We have doubled the amount of money we are giving to 2nd place and honorable mention winners. First prize winners will receive $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd and $50 for honorable mentions. Winners will also have their photo featured on the Carbon County Visitors Council web site and select photos may appear in ads and marketing materials to help promote the county!
